Moriet Miketa has been on a METEORIC trajectory the entire 21 years of her professional life in Real Estate. It has taken her from being Rookie of The Year, her very first year, to consistently being a Top Producer for the companies she worked for. Today she is the Broker/Owner of Heritage Moultray Real Estate Services, an independent, boutique agency in her hometown of Yakima, Washington.
As an agent, her success has been the result of a relentlessly focused work ethic, her commitment to finding the right support team, and instilling FUN and joy into every situation. Her focus is to be different, be kind and do something unique, to draw in clients; in other words, create your brand. The national name companies thrive due to economy of scale- everything consistently the same, and Moriet knew she needed the freedom be herself, brand herself and feed her creativity to inspire results.
They say “be careful what you wish for”, for good reason. Ownership has presented an array of new challenges for Moriet, truthfully from the ground up. New tools, technology and encouraging agents to create their own business versus cookie cutter templates made for a massive amount of change in her company and change is hard. Meanwhile, Moriet continues to be a very positive and active supporter of her community through her involvement with Yakima Rotary, and through work on the board of the Yakima Country Development Association ( twice board president). Her loves are Travel, History and her two bright and beautiful daughters (not in that order).
